Final Request for Humanist, Atheist, Scientific & Philosophical Poetry
I am compiling an anthology of humanist and atheist poetry entitled Filling The Void, which I have posted about before.
There is a niche in the market for this sort of book as I have struggled to find much in this area as a compilation or collection.
The book should be receiving a foreword by Chief Exec of the British Humanist Association, Andrew Copson, as we speak. Here are the sections as it stands:
Foreword 1 Introduction 3 Part One - God (and lack thereof) 7 Part Two - Religion, Holy People & Holy Places 33 Part Three - Prayer 49 Part Four - Death and the Meaning of Life 60 Part Four - Science and Critical Thought 84 Part Five - Morality and Humanist Ideals 108 Part Six - Awe, Wonder and our World 118 Part Seven - The Bible 125 Part Eight - Free Will and Other Philosophical Nuggets (Or, Any Other Business) 139 This is a last chance call for poems, particularly in the sections highlighted in bold. There is a great mix and variety to the poems and genres and forms. I would love to squeeze a few more in, so please let me know!
If you have a submission or know someone who might for a poem broadly atheistic in nature, then send it to:

Please spread the word!
