When Did You Last Change Your Mind on Something Big?

And why?
That's what I would like you guys to share with me. I know there will be a number of you who have deconverted from the whole God-thing. I would be interested in seeing what the several religious commenters here have changed their minds on.
We are not good at changing our minds, doggedly holding to beliefs that become cherished merely on point of fact that we have held them for a long time. I, for one, have changed my view on:
- God
- Free will
- Morality
- Politics (a slower shift over time)
Free will was one that came out of getting to grips wth philosophy in my early days of philosophical wrangling, and was a sudden realisation that libertarian free will just couldn't work - there was no space for it.
Other things, like politics, have been slower in their change, as I moved from a general economic right-wing position in my late teens and onwards, to being a centre-left advocate (though I am more centrist, economically, than socially, where I am fairly liberal). Sometimes I feel I have to argue further to the left on economics just to shift us back to the centre.
What about you? Why have you recently changed your mind on something?
