What Does It Mean to Be Human?

I gave my second talk on this subject this week to Portsmouth Skeptics in the Pub. This is the sixth talk I have given them over the years, now covering all of the topics I do for public talks, and I absolutely loved it. I met some lovely people and cracked a bunch of gags whilst disseminating some philosophy to the public. What's not to love of a night out? Everyone loves a personhood debate, no?
I am giving the same talk next week to Bournemouth Skeptics in the Pub. On Valentine's Day. No Brownie Points for me.

We touched on all sorts of subjects, from abortion to euthanasia, from AI to the trolley experiment and from the Sorites Paradox to Descartes. And everything in between.

Anyway, if you are near Bournemouth next week, come along!
